Welcome! I am a macroeconomist working on environmental and climate economics issues, innovation and economic growth. My research combines theoretical modelling, empirical methods and quantitative tools to study:
The interactions between climate change, natural disasters and migration
International (un)coordination on climate policies
Innovation and energy transition
I am a lecturer and postdoctoral researcher at the D-MTEC, ETH Zurich.
I received my PhD from the Department of Economics of the University of Zurich.
My PhD thesis received the Best Doctoral Dissertation Award from the European Association of Environmental and Resource Economists (EAERE), the 1st prize by the Swiss Association for Energy Economics (SAEE) 2022, and the SDG Impact Award by the Faculty of Business, Economics, and Informatics of the University of Zurich.
